Ballot Propositions

The City's ballot includes four ballot propositions. Legislation for each are available below:

Proposition P-1:

This proposition was initiated by the citizen referendum process. A petition was circulated and enough signatures were obtained for this referendum to be placed on the ballot.

  • Ordinance No. 20-004 - final version of the ordinance will be after the election is certified.

Proposition P-2:

This proposition is referred to the electorate by the Council and would allow the city to set fines up to $1,000.00, which follows the Alaska Statute limit.

Proposition P-3:

This proposition was referred to the electorate by the Council and would enact term limits.

Proposition P-4:

This proposition was referred to the elctorate by the Council and is regarding a Utility Revenue Bond for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
