Shane Bozeman

Officer Chris "Shane" Bozeman grew up southwest Arkansas and moved in 1992 to the North Slope of Alaska a year after graduating high school. Officer Bozeman joined the North Slope Borough Police Department as a police officer in 1996 and attended the Alaska Law Enforcement Training Academy #17 in the spring of 1997.

After 7 years with the NSB Police Department, Officer Bozeman relocated to Anchorage, Alaska and joined the University of Alaska Anchorage Police Department. During his time there, he served as a patrol officer, lead Training Officer, primary Firearms Instructor, Rape Aggression Defense Instructor, Field Training Officer, Taser Instructor, De-Escalation Tactics Instructor and finished his career at the UAA Police Department as a Lieutenant.

Officer Bozeman joined the Palmer Police Department in January of 2023 with over 26 years of law enforcement experience. He is excited to the bring the skills and experience he has learned and developed over the years to the Palmer Police Department and the community of Palmer, Alaska.
