2022 Special Election - Voter Registration

Voter Registration:

The City of Palmer will hold a Special Election on April 19, 2022.

For your vote to count, you must be registered to vote in the City of Palmer at least 30 days before the election.

You may register to vote or update your voter information by using one of the options below:

Use the State of Alaska’s online voter registration system at http://voterregistration.alaska.gov;
Download the Voter Registration form from the same site and mail it in; or
Go in person to the State of Alaska Division of Elections Mat-Su Office located at 1700 E. Bogard Rd., Suite B 102, Wasilla. (Please bring photo I.D.)

 

Voter Qualifications:

A person who meets all of the following requirements may vote at any city election, pursuant to Palmer Municipal Code 18.10.010:

Is qualified to vote in state elections under AS 15.05;
Has been a resident of the city for the thirty days immediately preceding the election;
Is registered to vote in state elections at a residence address within the city at least thirty days before the city election at which the person seeks to vote; and
Is not disqualified under Alaska Constitution, Article V.
