Captain Trey Lindstrom

Captain Trey's Family

Continuing our effort to introduce your Fire Department to you, we are presenting Captain Trey Lindstrom.  Captain Lindstrom is a great leader and driving force in our Department.

Captain Lindstrom was born at Elgin Air Force Base in Niceville, Florida.  He raised in Niceville to the age of 12 when his family was reassigned to JBER.  His family stayed on base for a couple years and then moved to Palmer where Captain Lindstrom attended and graduated Palmer High School.

Many that live in the area have probably met Trey already.  He currently works at Midas here in town.  As the manager, he is responsible for the great operation and service they provide there.  He has worked at Midas for the past 17 years.

When off work, Captain Lindstrom is accompanied by his amazing wife of 13 years, Amber Lindstrom and his “Partner in Crime”, Trey Lindstrom Jr. (TJ).  Amber and TJ help the Department tremendously as well.  They are not “officially” members, however they both are some of our “secret weapons” that lend assistance for most of our public events and helping with our public image.  PFR is truly blessed to have their family be a part of our family.

When not at work or volunteering with PFR, Captain Lindstrom can usually be found (or not) hunting or fishing.

When asked why he is a member, Captain Lindstrom stated, “I joined as an Explorer because it sounded cool.  I quickly realized that I had joined a family that was driven to help their community.  That made a lasting impression on me and I have been driven since to help my neighbors in this wonderful community of Palmer.

Thank you, Captain Trey Lindstrom, for your commitment to serving our community!

Palmer Fire & Rescue offers an Explorer program for young adults.  The requirements are 14 years of age and graduated eighth grade.  Explorers must maintain a 2.0 grade average.  We teach Explorers the fundamentals of serving the community through basic firefighting and maintenance of equipment.  We focus our training of core values of teamwork, integrity, positive attitude, and service.

If you think this could be you (Paid On-Call or Explorer), you believe in our mission statement, “We the members of the City of Palmer Fire & Rescue dedicate our efforts to ensure the safety and welfare of the public through preservation of life, property and our environment” and our values, then you belong with us.
