PFR Mascot Zoey Cameron

Palmer Mascot Zoey

Who do you decide to be the first member to introduce you everyone to. Many of our members wanted to be first, but then again no one wants to be the first. Thankfully, Palmer Fire & Rescue’s newest member agreed to break the ice and be first. Yes, we promise the next posting of member will be of the human variety.

Meet Zoey Cameron. Zoey was born in Everett, Washington and grew up in Juneau, Alaska. She has been with Palmer Fire & Rescue for a month now and her official title is Department Greeter and Cheerleader. She was previously with Capital City Fire/Rescue for the past 13 years where she really enjoyed attending the parades on the 4th of July. She currently works as a Domestic Supervisor for the Cameron household. Her hobbies include chasing laser lights and taking long naps.
Zoey really didn't have a choice to join the fire service due to Chief Cameron already being a member, but she does enjoy the Department to meet new people and dogs as well as helping educate people about our Department.

This is a photo of Zoey in Truck 3-1 at Palmer Fire & Rescue. If you see her around and would like, feel free to ask if you can pet her.

We will introduce you to a human member of the Department next week. We all look forward to telling you more about our family and how you may fit in. You can find an application to become a member at the following link.
