Burn Permit Application- Class A/B/C

Burning Permit - Class A/B/C
April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025

Class A/B/C burn permits are available for parcels of at least two (2) acres or more. 

Burning is authorized subject to the following terms and conditions: 

1. Burn permit must be on site and accessible.
2. A firebreak of 15 feet wide to mineral soil must be around pile of material to be burned before lighting fire.
3. Have a minimum of 1 adult in attendance at all times while burning.
4. Have sufficient water and tools on site to control the fire.
5. Burn with winds less than 5 mph.
6. Fires must be completely extinguished before leaving.
7. Do not burn within 30 feet of structures or under power lines.
8. No burning is allowed of any substance that creates black smoke, toxic gases, or odors that affect nearby persons.
9. No burning during burn suspensions.
10. Class A/B/C burn permits MUST be inspected and approved by the Fire Chief or his designee before the permit is considered active.
