Celebrating Sgt. Jamie Hammons

The Palmer Police Department recently celebrated the retirement of Sgt. Jamie Hammons, who retired after 26 years of service in law enforcement.

During his 19-year career with the Palmer PD, Sgt. Hammons worked in patrol before being promoted to Sergeant in 2013. He was an outstanding firearms instructor and armorer for the department, worked on the SWAT/SERT team, and was a Field Training Officer.
